Joe Biden on Tuesday signed another immigration policy to undo the 'damages' that Trump has done to the immigration policy of the United States.

Biden's proposed legislation demands a legal status and a path to citizenship to all the immigrants in the country. Currently, there are more than 11 million people in the country who do not have citizenship. Biden aims to overturn Donald Trump's action to "sweep" the immigrants, both legal and illegal.

Biden said he is not making any new policy in the signing ceremony. He said, "I'm not making new law. I'm just eliminating the bad policy."

The newly sworn Secretary of Homeland security, Alejandro Mayorkas will lead a task force on reuniting the families who were separated, courtesy to Trump's harsh laws. There are at least 5,500  families separated during the Trump-Presidency, identified by the court documents.

Biden says he is undoing the moral and national shame through the overturning of the laws.

Biden also ended a policy that held asylum-seekers in Customs and Border Protection custody with virtually no access to attorneys while their claims were quickly decided.
