Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has left Italian Serie A to sign Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin.

The paperwork needed for his transfer to the club has been completed. At Serie A, he was involved in the five-time Championship titles with Juventus. He spent five and a half years at Juventus.

This time he could not find a place in the club, so he returned to Germany to play professional football after 11 years. He arrived in Real Madrid, Spain, from Stuttgart a decade ago.

In February 2019, he was treated for an abnormally quick heart rate. Khedira, who returned to the game after this, could not keep pace.

He said he is grateful to Hertha for the work it had to do to get him contracted. Hertha has not yet provided information on the amount spent on him.

Khedira was a member of Germany's WorldCup-winning team in 2014. Two months later, he won the Champions League with Real Madrid. Hertha is currently ranked 15th in the Bundesliga.
