According to the Election commission of Uganda, President Yoweri Museveni has been re-elected in the chair for his sixth term.

According to election results announced on Saturday, Ugandan President won a decisive victory against his main opposition Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi wine by 58.6% of votes against 34.83.

Popstar turned Politician Bobi Wine has alleged the elections being fraudulent and rigged while Museveni said this being the "Most Cheat-free Election" that Uganda has ever seen.

Museveni has been in charge of Uganda's executive since 1986. He is also the longest-serving African President having served more than 36 years.

Museveni argues to his critics that his experience makes him the best suitable leader for Uganda.

Bobi wine said in an interview that "It's an election that was taken over by the military and the police, It further exposes how dictatorial the Museveni regime is. It's a mockery of democracy."

However, Army deputy spokesman Deo Akiiki said they were assessing Bobi Wine's safety for his own security and protection.
