Indian Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved on Tuesday has launched ayurvedic medicine named ‘Coronil and Swasari’ for treating COVID-19 patients and claims the medicine will fully cure.

Patanjali Ayurved Limited MD Acharya Balkrishna had announced the launch on Twitter on Monday evening.

According to the news agencies, during the launch, Baba Ramdev claimed that their clinical trial found that 69% of the patients tested recovered from COVID-19 within three days, while 100% of the patients recovered within a week.

During the launch, Baba Ramdev also announced that the entire kit comes at Rs 600. However, he claimed that it will be given for free to those living below the poverty line.

Coronil has been manufactured by Haridwar’s Divya Pharmacy and Patanjali Ayurved Limited, based on joint research by Patanjali Research Institute in Haridwar and the National Institute of Medical Science.

 India is continuously facing an increase in coronavirus cases every day.
