Princess Bajrakitiyabha is in stable condition after being hospitalized for a cardiac ailment, according to a statement released by the Thai royal palace on Thursday.
The princess, aged 44, reportedly lost consciousness early Wednesday morning in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima, where she was treated at a local hospital.
After her health stabilized, she was transported by helicopter to Bangkok, where she was receiving treatment on Thursday at the Chulalongkorn hospital.
According to the palace, the princess lost consciousness while training her dog for an army-sponsored competition.
Princess Bajrakitiyabha is the eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn; nevertheless, she is not the heir apparent, as the crown is passed down to male heirs first.
