Demonstrations across Nepal against the death penalty given to students in Myanmar

Nepal's student union took to the streets in protest of Myanmar's military 'junta' sentencing seven pro-democracy students to death. 

Dozens of leader activists of the Nepal student union gathered in front of the Myanmar Embassy in Bhaisepati, Lalitpur, condemning the cowardly and reprehensible act like the death penalty.

One of the leaders of the student union, Upashana Adhikari said that the Nepal Student Union surrounded the Burmese Embassy for Nepal in protest against the decision of the death penalty for seven students of Dagon University.

Myanmar's military government has sentenced anti-junta students, Ko Khant Zin Win, Ko Thura Maung Maung, Ko Zaw Lin Naing, Ko Thiha Htet Zaw, Ko Hein Htet, Ko Thet Paing Oo, and Ko Khant Linn Maung Maung to death.

Nepali students demanded to end the military government and restore democracy in Myanmar. Nepal Police arrested some of the protesters who were seen demonstrating against the harsh military regime of the Myanmar Junta with a black ribbon tied around their hands and carrying a black banner.

'More concerns for Myanmar's student youths' has been expressed at home and abroad.
