According to reports, four injured were transported to a hospital in Cetinje, while two others with significant injuries were transported to the Clinical Centre in Podgorica.

According to state prosecutor Andrijana Nastic, a woman and her two children, who were residing in the gunman's home, were murdered.

The director of police in Montenegro, Zoran Brdjanin, stated that the assailant fatally shot two children, ages 8 and 11, and their mother, who succumbed to her wounds later.

Police cordoned off the attack site. The police have not yet released an official statement regarding the attack.

Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic stated on his Telegram channel that there had been "an unprecedented tragedy" in Cetinje, and he urged the nation to "keep the families of the innocent victims, their friends, and the entire population of Cetinje in their thoughts."

He added that the country would observe three days of mourning beginning Friday evening.
