The billionaire philanthropist announced via Twitter that he would isolate himself till he was healthy again.
Gates wrote, "I'm fortunate to be vaccinated and boosted and have access to testing and great medical care,"

Bill Gates has been an outspoken advocate for pandemic mitigation measures, particularly access to vaccines and medication for developing nations. In October, the Gates Foundation announced spending $120 million to increase access to generic versions of Merck's antiviral COVID-19 tablet in low-income countries.
