Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the Yemeni Armed Forces' spokesman, stated Wednesday that Yemeni forces shot down a Saudi drone in northern Yemen.

Yemeni forces overthrew a Saudi-led coalition's CH4 drone, adding that the Yemeni missile used to take down the Saudi drone has not yet been revealed.

The official said the drone was conducting an aggressive operation in the Al 'Amisha' region of northwestern Yemen, between Saada and Amran provinces.

This comes as the Yemeni army has overturned multiple Saudi drones in various country sections over the last few weeks.

Additionally, the alliance has imposed a blockade on the developing country's ports and airports due to its aggression at fugitive former President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.

Meanwhile, Yemen is experiencing the world's worst humanitarian crisis, with at least 7 million people facing starvation and hundreds of thousands infected with cholera.
