According to a Friday court filing, a lady has filed a lawsuit accusing Prince Andrew of sexually assaulting and battering her two decades ago, when she claims tycoon Jeffrey Epstein was also molesting her.

As a "corporate investigator/process server," Cesar Sepulveda said he left a copy of Virginia Giuffre's lawsuit with a police officer guarding the Royal Lodge in Windsor, England, on August 27, according to an affidavit filed with the U.S. District Court in Manhattan.

Sepulveda, who lives in London, claimed that police had told him a day before that they had been advised not to take court paperwork on Andrew's behalf, but that when he returned, he was told that the documents would be passed; to the prince's "Legal Team."

He alleges that the police refused to see Andrew or tell him where the prince was.

Andrew's lawyers, according to his spokespeople, had no comment on Friday. The prince had not been personally served, according to a source close to Andrew's legal team.

Andrew (61) is one of Epstein's most well-known associates, having been indicted by federal authorities in Manhattan in July 2019 for sexually exploiting dozens of girls and women.

Epstein, a convicted sex offender, committed suicide in a Manhattan jail on August 10, 2019, at 66.

Ms. Giuffre said in her August 9 lawsuit that Andrew forced her to have unwelcome sexual intercourse at Ghislaine Maxwell's London residence, a British socialite and Epstein's longstanding partner.

She also claimed Andrew molested her in Epstein's Upper East Side residence and on a private island owned by Epstein in the US Virgin Islands.

Andrew, a friend of Epstein's, rejected Giuffre's charges of sexual assault in a November 2019 BBC interview and stated he did not recall meeting her.

Andrew stated, "I can absolutely, categorically tell you it never happened,"

A preliminary hearing is set for Monday afternoon in Manhattan before U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan. Maxwell is set to stand trial on allegations of assisting Epstein's sexual assaults on November 29 before a different Manhattan court. She has entered a not-guilty plea.

Maxwell and Giuffre settled a $50 million civil defamation action in 2017 for an undisclosed sum. Giuffre's case against Andrew does not include Maxwell as a defendant.
