Clashes broke out in the German capital as the COVID skeptics protested against the Corona Virus restrictions on Sunday.
The Organizers of the rally said the rally is for the "restoration of people's freedom and fundamental rights." Police said that several demonstrations took place in the forbidden region.
There have also been counter-protests by the groups showing support towards the government's restrictions.
Some restrictions such as mandatory masking in indoor public spaces and public transports are still in place, tho most of the restrictions have been eased this summer.
According to The Robert Koch Institute in Berlin, the fourth wave of the Pandemic has just begun in the country.
The German government said on Sunday the number of new cases could soar to 100,000 a day in about two months unless many more people get vaccinated, while those who decide not to may face restrictions. More than 91,000 people have died in Germany due to COVID-19.
