Nearly 200,000 people gathered in London on Saturday for one of the biggest protests in solidarity with Palestinians in the UK's history, according to organizers.
Organizers from the Stop the War Coalition, Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Friends of Al-Aqsa, Palestinian Forum in Britain, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, and the Muslim Association of Britain organized the demonstration before Hamas and Israel agreed to a truce early Friday after an 11-day bombing campaign targeting Gaza.
Over 230 Palestinians were killed in the attacks, including dozens of children. According to the authorities, Hamas rockets killed 12 Israelis.
