On Saturday, a limestone quarry explosion in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, killed at least ten people. Several people are believed to be trapped under the rubble.
According to Hindustan Times, the incident occurred this morning in Kalasapadu block's Mamillapalle village.
Quarry workers make up the majority of the victims.
The workers were drilling holes in granite to inject explosive material when the incident occurred.
