Amid French fishermen's threat to block its port amid a tussle over fishing rights, London has announced to send two patrol vessels to the island of Jersey in the English channel quoting it a "precautionary" measure.
The Paris-Jersey agreement over providing French vessels with fishing rights in the island's waters transitioned with fishermen's threat of blocking Saint Helier.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson ordered two patrol warships to be deployed in the area as a response on Wednesday.
