Myanmar Military Regime security forces killed a seven-year-old girl while she sat on her father's lap inside her home.

Khin Myo Chit was shot in the abdomen in Mandalay’s Chanmyathazi township on Tuesday afternoon.

Myo Chit's elder sister  Aye Chan San said, “They stormed into our house insolently and told everyone inside the home to sit.”

“They asked if everyone in the house was there. My father responded that that was everyone. Khin Myo Chit was sitting in our father’s lap. One of them said my father was lying and looked around,” she said.

She said the police continue to insist her father was lying when he said all the six members of the family when there. The police had aimed her father with the bullet but it hit Myo Chit, she said.

Three more people were killed on Mandalay Tuesday. The death toll that was said to be 260 by Tuesday has crossed 270 at the time of reporting.
