North Korea has issued a thinly veiled threat to President Biden, urging him not to "make a stink" as he reconsiders the US policy against Pyongyang.

Kim Yo-jong, tyrant Kim Jong-niece, un's responded in a statement to the state-run Korean Central News Agency.

“We take this opportunity to alert the new US administration, which is trying hard to give off powder smell in our land,” she said, referring to joint military drills between the US and South Korea.

“It had better refrain from making a stink at its first move if it wishes to sleep in peace for the next four years,” Ms. Kim said.

She spoke after White House press secretary Jen Psaki accused North Korea of undermining the current Biden administration.

“We aim for diplomacy at all times. Our mission is to keep things from getting out of hand. “However, we have received no response to date,” she said, adding that Mr. Biden's outreach “follows more than a year of no active engagement with North Korea, amid repeated attempts by the United States to engage.”
