The military government in Myanmar has filed a second charge against the countries ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

Suu Kyi has been taken into custody when Myanmar's military staged a coup against the government led by her. She was previously been charged under the country's import and export laws for having walkie-talkies in her home that were imported without being registered.

This time the Junta has charged her for violating the section of the country's Natural Disaster Law. This law has been used to prosecute people who violate coronavirus restrictions.

The charge can imprison one for maximum under the Natural Disaster Law but due to the recent changes in the country's Penal Code, it can be used to detain her indefinitely without trial.

Protests against Myanmar's junta government have been increasing after the Junta took over the government.

Burmese people have been outraged as the democracy gained by a long fight is about to get lost once again.

About 400 people have been arrested so far by the police after the coup.
