One of the largest vaccination sites in the country was closed for about an hour starting just before 2 p.m. on Saturday, when about 50 Anti-Vax-protesters gathered at the entrance. The Los Angeles Fire Department closed the entrance to Dodger Stadium.
The demonstrators were the members of anti-vaccine and far-right groups. Some of them carried signs disparaging the COVID-19 vaccine and appealing to people not to get the jabs.
Protesters told people at the queue that the coronavirus is not real and that the vaccine is dangerous.
Protesters carried signs with slogans like “Save Your Soul TURN BACK NOW,” “CNN IS LYING TO YOU,” “RECALL GAVIN NEWSOM,” and “TAKE OFF YOUR MASK.” Some of them also handed out pamphlets to motorists who had their windows down. Some cars honked their horns as they drove by.
