Less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who was investigating the company, Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm, according to emails obtained by The Post.

The never-before-revealed meeting is listed in a message of appreciation that on April 17, 2015, around a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a recorded salary of up to $ 50,000 a month, Vadym Pozharskyi, an advisor to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden.

Thank you, dear Hunter, for inviting me to DC and giving you the chance to meet your father and spend some time together. The email reads, "It's realty[sic] and honor and pleasure."

An earlier email from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, allegedly Burisma's No. 3 exec, asking Hunter on behalf of the organization for "advice on how you might use your leverage."

The blockbuster correspondence that flies in the face of the assertion of Joe Biden that he "never talked about his overseas business dealings to my son" is found in a large set of data retrieved from a laptop computer.

According to the owner of the store, the computer was dropped off at a repair shop in Biden's home state of Delaware in April 2019.

A raunchy, 12-minute video that appears to show Hunter, who admitted to struggling with addiction problems, smoking crack while engaging in a sex act with an unidentified woman, as well as numerous other sexually explicit images, includes other material extracted from the computer.

According to the shop owner, who said he repeatedly tried to contact the customer, the customer who brought in the water-damaged MacBook Pro for repair never paid for the service or retrieved it or the hard drive on which its contents were stored.

The shop owner could not identify the customer as Hunter Biden positively but said the laptop bore a Beau Biden Foundation sticker, named after Hunter's late brother and former attorney general of Delaware.

Photos of a Delaware federal subpoena issued to The Post indicate that the FBI confiscated both the machine and the hard drive in December after the owner of the shop said he alerted the feds to their presence.

But, the shop owner claims, before turning over the gear, he made a copy of the hard drive and later gave it to Robert Costello, former Mayor Rudy Giuliani's lawyer.

Former President Trump advisor Steve Bannon told The Post about the presence of the hard drive in late September, and Giuliani sent a copy of it to The Post on Sunday.

The then Vice President admittedly pressured Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk to get rid of Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin by threatening to withhold a $1 billion US loan guarantee during a trip to Kyiv in December 2015, less than eight months after Pozharskyi thanked Hunter Biden for his introduction to his father.

I looked at them and said, 'I'm going to leave in six hours.' You're not getting the money if the lawyer is not fired,' Biden bragged infamously to the Council on Foreign Affairs in 2018.

"Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”

Shokin has said that at the time of his firing, in March 2016, he'd made “ specific plans ”to investigate Burisma that“ included interrogations and other crime-investigation procedures into all members of the executive board, including Hunter Biden.

Joe Biden insisted that Shokin was wanted by the US to be removed over corruption concerns shared by the European Union.

Meanwhile, an email dated May 12, 2014, shows Pozharskyi trying to get him to use his political influence to assist the organization shortly after Hunter Biden joined the Burisma board.

The message had the "urgent issue" subject line and was also sent to the business partner of Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, who at the time also sat on the Burisma board.

Pozharskyi said that "representatives of the new authorities in control appear to tackle N.Z. very aggressively unofficially with the aim to obtain cash from him."

N.Z. A.Z. isn't identified in the email but appears to be a reference to Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky, whose first name is a Ukrainian version of “ Nicholas.

When the suspected shakedown failed, in the form of "one or more pretrial proceedings," Pozharskyi wrote, "they continued with specific actions."

"We need your advice urgently about how you can use your power to communicate a message/signal, etc. to avoid what we believe is politically motivated action," he added.

Hunter Biden replied by saying that he was in Doha, Qatar, with Archer and asked for more information about "the formal (if any) allegations against Burisma."

Who is ultimately behind these company attacks? Who will bring an end to such attacks in the new interim government? ”he said.

The exchange came the same day that Burisma revealed it had expanded its board of directors by adding Hunter Biden, who, according to a news release that has since been scrubbed from Burisma 's website, was placed in charge of its "judicial unit and will provide help for the Company among international organizations."

According to various reports, Hunter Biden actually joined the board in April 2014.

His lawyer said last year that Hunter was “not a member of the management team, ” adding, “ At no time was Hunter in charge of the company's legal affairs.”

Around four months after Hunter Biden's Pozharskyi correspondence, Archer sent Hunter Biden an email chain with the subject line "tax increase effect on the development of Burisma," which included Pozharskyi reporting that the Ukrainian cabinet had submitted new tax legislation to the parliament of the nation.

Pozharskyi wrote, "If enacted, this law would kill the entire private gas production sector in the bud."

Pozharskyi also said in the email on Sept. 24, 2014, that he was "going to share this information with the US embassy here in Kyiv, as well as with Mr. Amos Hochstein's office in the States."

At the time, Hochstein was the newly named special envoy and coordinator for international energy relations for the State Department.

The Naftogaz Group, Ukraine's state-owned power company, announced in December 2017 that Hochstein had entered the company as an independent director, but he announced his resignation on Monday.

"In an op-ed published by the Kyiv Post, Hochstein wrote," The company has been forced to spend an endless amount of time-fighting political pressure and efforts by oligarchs to enrich themselves through questionable transactions.

Joe Biden has consistently denied any conflict of interest or corruption by any of them involving Burisma, in addition to denying that he talked to Hunter Biden about his overseas business dealings.

"During an appearance on NBC's "Today" show last February, when co-host Savannah Guthrie questioned whether it was "wrong for [Hunter] to take that role, knowing that it was only because you wanted access to that business.

"Well, that's not true. You're telling something that you don't know what you're talking about,' answered the elder Biden.
