The tension went high between the Police and the Protesters during the weekly anti-corona demonstration in Magdeburg on Monday.

During the unregistered "walk," hundreds of the COVID deniers marched through the city center, who were also booing the police.

Protesters were observed criticizing and yelling at police officers. A few of protestors were arrested by officers.

Between 1989 and 1991, Monday protests were common in East Germany, gathering tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of anti-government protestors.
