In a divorce deal, Kanye West was ordered to pay Kim Kardashian $200,000 (£167,000) each month in child support.

The former rapper and reality TV star will have joint custody of their four children.

Kardashian filed for divorce in 2021, eight years after marrying West, whose legal name had been changed to Ye.

Several corporations terminated connections with Ye after concerns involving antisemitic statements.

Both parties were proclaimed legally single in March, with Kardashian also deleting "West" from her last name.

The custody of their children and the division of their possessions were determined in court documents submitted on Tuesday.

According to the papers, the parties must speak with one another before making critical choices about their children's well-being.

Shared costs will be incurred for the children's safety, schooling, and higher education.

In addition, Ye is expected to pay $200,000 per month in child support, as the children will spend most of their time with Kardashian, as reported by the New York Post.

North is nine years old, Saint is six, Chicago is four, and Psalm is three.

In her earlier interviews, Kardashian, 42, expressed a "strong desire" for the marriage to terminate, stating that this would "help Kanye understand" that the relationship was finished.

Ye, 45, has previously battled against the separation.

In recent months, he has been embroiled in controversy and has been dumped by various labels, including Adidas, Gap, and Balenciaga.

The rapper sparked tremendous controversy earlier this year when he attended Paris Fashion Week while wearing a t-shirt with the slogan "White Lives Matter" - a term frequently employed by white nationalists.

He then asserted that a secret Jewish conspiracy, a popular antisemitic cliché, funded his criticsliché.

This week, Ye revealed his ambition to run for president of the United States in 2024.

He stood for office in 2020 but received only 70,000 votes.
