The jury was shown footage of Amber Heard, and James Franco as the defamation trial of Johnny Depp continued.

The 36-year-old returned to the witness stand for her second day of cross-examination, with the actor's attorney, Camille Vasquez, continuing questions.

A video of Franco visiting the Aquaman actress at her apartment on May 22, 2016, around the time she filed for divorce from the 58-year-old, was shown at one point.

Surveillance footage saw Heard descending in an elevator at 10:56 p.m., followed by the return of the Pineapple Express actor at 10:57 p.m.

In the clip, he concealed his face by wearing a baseball cap, a jacket, and a backpack.

He appeared to rest his head on the actress's shoulder, and she briefly imitated his position before leaving the elevator.

Heard stated that the video depicted herself and Franco and that she was escorting Franco to her penthouse apartment at the time.

When asked if she knew that Depp was not in town, she responded that she did not know his schedule at the time before Ms. Vasquez continued.

Earlier in her evidence, Heard said that the Edward Scissorhands actor 'hated' Franco and had become envious of their collaboration on the 2015 film The Adderall Diaries.

On her second day on the stand, she stated, "He was angry that I took the job with James Franco."

Since we had worked on Pineapple Express together, he was already accusing me of having had a relationship with James Franco in the past.

She also claimed that they frequently argued over the filming, with him allegedly accusing her of not telling him about specific situations.

She said, "He was already angry with me and had accused me in numerous arguments of not telling him about kissing scenes I had written."

I was accused of withholding information and concealing it from him because I was vague about any love moment I planned to stage.

"Of course, I didn't want the fight or the argument, but I had to egg-shell tiptoe around how to tell him when I had a scene like that."

Depp filed a lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend for an article she wrote in 2018 on her experiences with domestic violence.

Although he was not named, his legal team contended that it shows he was sexually and physically violent towards her during their relationship and is claiming damages of $50 million (£39 million).

Heard is countersuing for $100 million (£80 million).

Before the trial began, Franco was put on her list of potential witnesses, although it is believed that he will not be testifying.

Depp has rejected all allegations of abuse since the lawsuit began at the Fairfax County Courthouse, stating that he has "never struck a woman."

His security guard, the former therapist of the couple, and Heard's former nurse have also testified.

The proceeding continues.
