The United States Vice President and the leader of the response team to the ongoing crisis in the Southern US border with an influx of Migration, Kamala Harris, is set to make her first visit to the Southern Border on Friday.
Despite being in charge of the response, this is the first time Harris will be visiting ground zero in more than three months of taking up the mantle.
She visited the Caribbean and Latin American countries and met with the Government officials there to discuss the ongoing immigration crisis.
She has faced bipartisan criticisms for failing to go to the border earlier despite leading the efforts for the Biden Administration.
