Two people were killed and eight others were injured in a shooting in downtown Minneapolis early Saturday, according to police.
Five men and five women were among the ten people injured, according to a series of tweets from the police department.
Two of the men died, and another was in critical condition at a hospital, according to police. The other seven people who were injured did not have life-threatening injuries.
There were no arrests made right away.
According to KMSP-TV, police spokesperson John Elder said the gunfire was caused by two men in a crowd who got into an altercation, pulled out weapons, and started shooting.
