“It takes one to know one,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said in televised remarks after the US President called him a “Killer.”
“We always see in another person our own qualities and think that he is the same as us,” Putin said remembering the joke from his childhood.
Putin added he wishes Biden, 78 a good health, “I'm saying this without irony, not as a joke.”
President Biden nodded 'Yes' when he was asked if he believes Putin is a killer in an interview with ABC News.
The US president's remarks has created a crisis in the already bad bilateral relationship between the US and Russia.
Putin, however, said Russia will continue to work with Washington in the issues of mutual interest.
