Two men have been arrested by the US authorities with the assault of a police officer who died during the capitol riot.

U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died during the insurrection by the Pro-Trump Mob at the US Capitol on January 6. The two men have been arrested for assaulting the officer with a bear spray. Officials say it has not been clear how the officer died.

The men have not been charged with relation to the death of the officer.

Julian Khater, 32- Pennsylvania and George Tanios, 39- West Virginia, were arrested by authorities on Sunday. According to the official documents that they were seen spraying the bear spray at the three police officers including Sicknick.

The cause of death of the officer has not been known yet. It has been suspected that he was assaulted by a fire extinguisher.
