The US treasury department said on Monday that it has sanctioned two more generals in response to the killing by the Security Forces of the anti-coup protestors.
Lt. General Moe Myint Tun and General Maung Maung Kyaw are designated sanctions by the United States. They are the members of the State Administrative Council, established by the military to rule the country after seizing power from the government led by Aung San Suu Kyi.

The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken released a statement saying that the US condemns "the brutal attacks on unarmed protesters which resulted in four deaths and injured over 40 individuals."
Blinken also warned that the US might take further action against the perpetrators of violence and those "who suppress the will of the people."
"We call on the military and police to cease all attacks on peaceful protesters, immediately release all those unjustly detained, stop attacks on and intimidation of journalists and activists, and restore the democratically elected government," said Blinken.
The protests in the South East Asian Country have been growing since the military overthrew the elected government and declared the emergency on February 1.
