At least four people died and 11 were injured when a building collapsed following a huge explosion that rocked the Spanish Capital.
The blast started around local time at 3 pm (-1GMT) caused a fire inside the building.
A government official said to Span's Public Television the blast occurred when workmen were repairing the building's boiler. Government representative Jose Manuel Franco added that the blast was caused by a 'gas explosion'.
Emergency crews have been deployed to provide aids and for the rescue operation.

Residents of the city say the explosion was loud like they never heard before.
