Muriel Bowser, mayor of Washington, D.C, asks the people to stay home during Joe Biden's inauguration on the twentieth of January. 

Browser Said during a press conference, "Our goals right now are to encourage Americans to participate virtually and to protect the District of Columbia from a repeat of the violent insurrection experienced at the Capitol and its grounds on January the 6."

The dangers of violent protests have not faded away in the US capital. Mayor Brown also added she has requested President Donald Trump to declare a "Pre-Emergency disaster". She also mentioned that she requested the Department of Homeland Security to establish a “security and federal force deployment plan.”

Five people died in the Capitol Hill mayhem a few days ago.
