North Korean supreme leader apologized for his failures in the Worker's Party Congress as reported by DPRK News media, KCNA. KCNA further reported that Kim called for “establishing our own wholesome and revolutionary lifestyle in all spheres of social life and thoroughly eliminating non-socialist elements."
In the 8th Worker's party congress, Kim Jong-Un raised the issue of reshaping South Korean relations “as required by the prevailing situation and the changed times” and discussed foreign policy.
He also outlined the requirement of the prohibition of reactionary thought, according to KCNA.
He has admitted his mistakes and expressed sorry for falling extremely short of the five-year plan set in 2016. The gathering aims to review the party’s work since its last meeting in 2016 and outline a new blueprint.
