After a shooting broke out inside an apartment in Nashville, Tennessee, three individuals were murdered, including two brothers from the same family, and four others were injured.
The incident happened just before 10 p.m. on Friday on Torbett Street, with some media outlets reporting that it began at 9.45 p.m.
When police arrived at the residence, they discovered three bodies and brought the four injured to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
According to authorities, the victims are in stable condition.
Six members of a family were shot, according to police, according to local media. One of the two suspects who entered the flat after banging on the front door was shot as well.
According to the story, the two family members slain in the incident were adolescent brothers. They were identified as Zacquez Sherrell, 18, and Tavarius Sherrell, 15 years old.
The gunshot injured their 40-year-old mother, two sisters, ages 16 and 20, and their 13-year-old brother.
According to Nashville police, there was no evidence of forced entry into the flat, and two weapons were discovered at the site of the murder.
Officials believe the shooting at the Nashville apartment was motivated by robbery.

Christian Johnson, 29, was one of the suspects killed in the incident. According to WKRN-TV, an ABC station, Johnson was a convicted robber.

“We are pursuing some leads and also interviewing and talking to people. Anyone who may have left the scene or anyone who has information about what happened inside the apartment, we very much want to talk to you.”
