Roblox, a popular gaming platform, reopened today after being out for the majority of the weekend.
On Friday, the internet portal went down. "Roblox is back online everywhere!" the business said in a statement. Thank you for your patience as we work to restore normalcy."
The corporation provided many updates on its efforts to restore service over Twitter. The downtime was "not tied to any specific experiences or collaborations on the site," according to Roblox. This was presumably done to dispel rumors that the incident was prompted by a free burrito giveaway at a Roblox-based Chipotle.
Players can design their own games and play with other people on the platform. After the coronavirus pandemic shuttered schools and kept children indoors seeking for something to do, it became extremely popular.
