A fire in a Romanian hospital has claimed the lives of at least nine people, the third such incident in the last year.

According to Romania's emergency situations inspectorate, all other patients were evacuated from the Hospital for Infectious Diseases in the port city of Constanta, and the fire was put out by mid-morning on Friday.
