During a normal report, Australian television station ABC mistakenly broadcast video from a Satanic ceremony to its viewers. The gaffe was connected to a recent court dispute regarding Satanism being taught in schools on the internet.
The clip from the news program, which was shared on Twitter by ABC Media Watch, opens with presenter Yvonne Yong introducing a report on Queensland's plan to make injuring or killing police dogs and horses a criminal crime.
The viewer watches quiet images of masked officials in suits while Yong stops nervously. The program then abruptly switches to what seems to be a demonic ritual in progress. While accompanied by a giant lit upside-down cross, a figure dressed in a black robe says, "Hail, Satan."

After a brief moment of quiet, the broadcast returns to Yong, who shifts to a different story as if nothing had happened.
It's unclear whether the Satanic film was part of another story or came from somewhere else, and ABC hasn't said anything about it.
On the internet, some individuals linked devil-worshippers to members of the Noosa Temple of Satan, which is presently fighting Queensland's Education Department to have religious instruction programs taught in schools.
The Satanists, led by Robin Bristow, also known as Brother Samael Demo-Gorgon, want the federal government to repeal the religious discrimination statute and replace it with a human rights activist, according to Australian media.
The film was shared by the Noosa Temple of Satan, who added, "Satan works in mysterious ways."
Meanwhile, social media users joked that the report was an "unfair slight on Satanists," and hoped that the video would stay at 666 retweets, which it now has surpassed.
