At the International Defense Industries Fair (IDEF) in Istanbul on Thursday, Turkey secured its first satellite export deal.
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), Argentina-based technology firm INVAP, and their joint venture GSATCOM signed the agreement.
As part of the agreement, a satellite dubbed ARSAT-SG1 will be built to satisfy the needs of Argentina's state-owned GSM operator Arsat and will be delivered in 2024.
