T24 reported on Saturday that the official death toll from floods in Turkey's northern Black Sea area has grown to 44, as the havoc inflicted by the severe floodwaters engulfed Bozkurt district of Kastamonu province.
Heavy rains wreaked havoc in northern Turkey's Kastamonu, Bartn, and Sinop provinces, while rescuers looked for more victims and survivors.
Flooding that began on Wednesday has destroyed homes and bridges, as well as swept automobiles away, leaving piles of debris in the streets.
