According to a top government official, at least one American citizen is believed to be among the six people arrested in connection with the assassination of Haiti's president, Jovenel Moise.
Mathias Pierre, Haiti's minister of elections and interparty relations, said James Solages, a U.S. citizen of Haitian descent, was one of the six people arrested in the president's assassination early Wednesday morning and later told The Washington Post that at least one other detainee was thought to be Haitian American.
