Chinese technology company Huawei has unveiled a foldable mobile phone. The phone, which has an eight-inch (20 cm) widescreen, is currently only sold in the Chinese market, according to the company.
Huawei Technologies has unveiled the Mate X-2 series of mobile phones.
Huawei is currently fighting US sanctions and is deprived of US processor chips and Google services.
Last year, Huawei dropped from number one to number six in terms of sales in the global mobile market.
Huawei's Mate X-2 is the third foldable mobile phone. This mobile device has good visuals and good sound for videos and games. This phone uses the highly advanced Kirin 9000 chips developed by Huawei itself.
Richard Yu, chairman of Huawei's consumer unit, said in a statement that the latest range of mobile phones would be a "special experience" for users.
According to Yu, the Mate X2 is priced at US$ 2,785 in the Chinese market.
