Netherlands' side-effects center Lareb has said it received 65 reports of post-vaccination deaths. Lareb says 55 of the deaths are people older than 80, while the remaining 10 aged 65-80 years.
Agnes Kant of the Lareb said that the deaths occurred between 1 to 26 days after the vaccination.
However, this does not mean that deaths were caused by the side effect of the vaccine. However, it is still possible that the side effects might have contributed to the deaths.
Kant said, “In the Netherlands, an average of 750 to 800 people die in nursing homes and 2,000 people over the age of 80 per week from all kinds of causes. This can of course include the people who were recently vaccinated.”
In the majority of the deaths, the underlying health condition has been the most obvious explanation for deaths. But in some reports, there was no clear explanation.
“For some, side effects from the vaccine may have worsened fragile health. In the days after vaccination, they developed symptoms known as side effects, such as fever, nausea, and general illness. These complaints are not in themselves the cause of death, but they may have contributed to it,” Kant said.
