The former Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, New Jersey was demolished on Wednesday morning.
The Casino closed in 2014, had deteriorated so much in recent years that its chunks had started to peel out.
The building demolished by 9:08 a.m. left a large pile of rubble and smoke behind.
The former event manager for the casino, Bernie Dillion said that the hotel used to be a hotspot for celebrities.
“The way we put Trump Plaza and the city of Atlantic City on the map for the whole world was really incredible. Everyone from Hulk Hogan to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, it was the whole gamut of personalities," he said. "One night before a Tyson fight, I stopped dead in my tracks and looked about four rows in as the place was filling up, and two guys were leaning in close and having a private conversation: Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty."
Trump had cut ties with the casino after a series of bankruptcy. Despite that, the name of Trump was adorned for the time.
The demolition comes less than a month after Joe Biden has been sworn in as the president.
