Cristiano Ronaldo has become the top goal-scorer in the history of football after he successfully netted the 760th goal of his career on Wednesday in Italian Super Cup final between Juventus and Napoli.

The historic goal granted Juventus the lead in the 64th minute which ultimately helped his team clinch the club’s ninth Super Cup title.

With the goal, Ronaldo moved past Josef Bican’s previous record of 759 official career goals to sit atop the all-time goal scorer's list.

The vast majority of those 760 goals came for his former team Real Madrid, for whom Ronaldo netted 450 goals.

118 of them were during the time he wore the Manchester United shirt, another 102 for his national team, 5 for his first club, Sporting CP, and 85 with his current side, Juventus.
