Recently celebrating her 40th birthday, Kardashian West announced that her husband, rapper Kanye West, gave her a very special birthday present in the form of a hologram of Robert Kardashian, her late father, who died 17 years ago.

She thanked her husband for the "special surprise from heaven" calling the gift "memory that will last a lifetime" disclosing that she and her family had seen the hologram "over and over"

Earlier this year, Kardashian West spoke about her husband's mental health concerns after he shared a series of messages on Twitter that caused some fans to worry.

Kardashian West, speaking about West's bipolar disorder, asked people to learn more about her husband and the challenges he faces.

She said, "Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words some times do not align with his intentions," Living with bipolar disorder, no matter how amazing or unattainable they can feel to others does not weaken or invalidate their dreams and creative ideas.

"That is part of his genius and as we have all witnessed, many of his big dreams have come true."
