The United States on Thursday surpassed 153,845 recorded Covid-19 deaths, according to the John Hopkins University tally.

The country's number of daily coronavirus deaths is the highest in the world rank.

The US has become the worst-hit corona affected country in the world overtaking all the countries. Globally, 16,940,174 people have been infected worldwide, with 664,748 deaths, and 9,897,269 people recovered with the virus so far.

It has now recorded more than 4.38 million in total cases. The country's coronavirus death toll was 153,845 as of Thursday morning more than a fifth of the world's recorded deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.

There are 2,245,521 people who have been successfully discharged across the country till date, has pushed the recovery rate to 94%.
